Kiwanis membership, workplace leadership and life experiences are my wellspring of tools for continued Kiwanis Leadership. They are my source of sound judgment, my skills as a public speaker, my talent for consensus building and my ability to work as a team member and leader.

Kiwanis Biography
Sylvester Neal has had a distinguished Kiwanis career since he joined the Kiwanis Club of Fairbanks, Alaska in 1980. During the ensuing 27 years, Sylvester served as Club Secretary, Club President. Lt. Governor, District Governor and, now, Kiwanis International Trustee. His clubs recognized Sylvester’s efforts by naming him Kiwanian of the Year four times.
Now in his third year as Board Trustee, Sylvester is actively involved in growth and club excellence initiatives. He currently serves as the Board Committee Chair for Global Growth, and Chairs an International Task Force on Leadership Diversity. In addition, he serves on KI’s Finance and Executive Committees. These intersecting spheres of growth, international, and administrative responsibilities give Sylvester an extraordinary perspective on the future of Kiwanis.
