There has never been a more crucial time for those of us who accepted leadership positions to "RISE TO THE OCCASION".
ARE YOU THE ONE?
I THINK YES!
Your club, Division and District are counting on YOU to find ways to grow your club. We cannot wait for some other time for results that may or may not happen.
The children in your community can only be served best when you are ADDING MEMBERS!
I challenge you to be one of the first members in your club to recruit a new member.
CAN YOU DO IT?
REMINDERS:
- Are your service leadership faculty advisors members of you club?
- Do you invite spouses to join?
- Is your club at least 25% female?
- Prior Key Club and Circle K members have 2 years free dues!
- Do you call past members/officers to see if their situation has changed?
- Do you ask your speaker to join?
- Is every bank in town represented? They want to be.
- Is your postmaster and Wal-Mart manager a member?
- Are you planning a membership drive? (I can help!)
- International will provide you a list of businesses by zip code. (Call 1-800-Kiwanis.)
- Are you having guests regularly? Who follows up to ask them to join?
- Are your meetings fun and informative?
- Do you remember that a member who may leave can be replaced by a member from the same firm with NO NEW MEMBER FEE?
- Are you using 1-2-3 YOU HOLD THE KEY to promote recruiting?
Please be sure your club has a plan to add members today!!!!!!
