Is your club infected with SPAM?

By Sylvester Neal: Trustee 2005-2008

Let’s evaluate:

S Service is no longer relevant
Sponsorship of new members is non-existent
Service Leadership programs are not supported

P President does not communicate goals, vision, and future
  Partnerships with community organizations vanishing
  Participation of members eroding

A Attendance at training, council, and conventions dwindling
Attention to needs of members ambushed
Attendance at regular meetings dropping rapidly

M Members are becoming increasingly negative
  Member’s resistance to change increasing
Members who see no reason to grow becoming the norm

Your club has been seriously infected with complacency and needs an anti-virus program installed immediately.

Please insert a club anti-virus disc for immediate corrections. This program will help with;

* A community analysis and club assessment to identify service needs of the community and those that satisfy members,

* A Special Guest Day or membership drive to re-energize your club,

* Improving the quality of weekly meetings with interesting programs, exciting inductions, Kiwanis moments, a timed agenda, and recognition of contributions that make a difference,

* Creating a welcoming atmosphere for guest and visitors,

* Developing a club focus with a well organized strategic plan,

* Improving fellowship and inserts fun activities.

Like computer viruses, prompt actions, when filled with commitment and enthusiasm, are needed to keep the club from total destruction. This Disc is free and is serviced by Kiwanis International, your District and your Division. Call for help and installation instructions.
